Kanpai Japanese Restaurant & Sushi

Had the chance to experience the goodness that is known as Kanpai. Lunch with the Girlz. Well the Combo B did not disappoint. A great cabbage salad to begin with a light vinegar-based dressing. The Miso Soup was hot and very flavorful. The Sushi was fresh and bursting with complex delights. A party in my mouth with every bite. I wanted to finish it but knew my teen would be disappointed if I did not bring home a few morsels. The service is kind and attentive without being in your space, so nice opportunity to have a conversation and catch-up with friends. At first glimpse it is small, but adequate room that you are not on top of other patrons. In hindsight, this place is what we like to call "Goldilocks" - it's just right in every category. We'll be back to try more delicious offerings at Kanpai. I hope they are around for a long time.

I'm from Hawaii where the fish is fresh and this place surprised me with the quality and flavor of their sushi! Had to get the AYCE experience and I was not disappointed! Service was prompt and everyone was kind. I'll be back for more!!

I come here almost every weekend whether it's take out or dine in! The best place that I have found sushi wise in the springs!

We went to Kanpai yesterday for our anniversary dinner, never having been before, and I've never been blown away by a sushi restaurant before like I was with Kanpai. The service was so attentive that I don't think I could have finished my whole water before a refill if I tried. The all you can eat sushi deal was a very shocking surprise, since with every other sushi restaurant I've gone to that offers AYCE they limit the menu to just the most basic of sushi rolls, but not Kanpai. We had lobster rolls, caterpillar rolls, a volcano roll, and all of them were hands down the best either of us have ever had.

I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in the area and craving good sushi at a great price, you *will* be satisfied at Kanpai.

Kanpai is one of our go to sushi spots. I've seen some reviews complaining about the prices when they were raised.

I have eaten a lot of sushi in my years and this is the best all you can eat sushi I've ever had. I tell people that Kanpai gives you great sushi quality at a respectable all you can eat price.

If you went to another sushi restaurant and ordered the same amount of sushi that we typically order in an outing to Kanpai with appetizers and ice cream you would pay well over $100 for two people, not $80.

I highly recommend Kanpai not only for the quality of the food but also the quality of service. We have never been to Kanpai and had bad service, even when they are super busy.

I typically measure a sushi restaurant by the quality of their white tuna and Kanpai has never disappointed!

Check it out if you are looking for good sushi in the Springs at a reasonable price!

WAY over priced. I barely got any rice and the salad was even smaller. I got a spicy tuna roll which had canned tuna. This place should be embarrassed to be charging these prices. If I could I'd give a 0 out of 5

Outstanding! This place was highly recommended by my wife's friend. Having thought it came from a friend who recommended terrible places previously I politely declined. With the wife and kids on vacation and being stuck at home for work I finally decided to try it. What a mistake I made. This place has excellent tasting and precision rolled rolls I had to tuck my tail between my legs and admit I was wrong. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cooks/chefs behind the line are consistently putting out great food. The owner is friendly helpful and friendly. I will be back but with the wife and kids. There is plenty of options on the menu for teenagers who may not like raw fish. After talking to my wife, I had her friends mixed up. It was actually recommended by a friend who has good taste in food. What have I missed over the years! Try this place out. It's worth the taste.

The lunch specials are a great deal here! You get 2 regular rolls and half of a crunchy/fried roll plus soup and salad. The food came quickly and everything tasted fresh.
